Welcome to Cornerstone's Encouragement Page! Here is something to make you laugh! The following came from an email so we have no idea who wrote the originial. Our Unique Treasures by Patsy Clairmont Men have such a different angle of viewing things than women. We girls call to others to come see a playful puppy, a snuggly kitten, or a cooing baby. Meanwhile the guyins dangle a grass snake like a charm bracelet, point out the newest road kill, and burp loud enough to register 6.3 on the Richter scale. That's not to say all guys--gust a fair portion--go for the yucky stuff of life. But I find the he-men in my vicinity would rather investigate a spider's nest than check out the new lace curtains. Even though we did start out in the same garden, we don't seem to be smelling the same rose bush. We need to respect our differences and to value another's contribution. Our differences enable us to enlarge each other's angle of viewing life. Treasure each other's uniqueness and remember to see from another angle. |
